When you select a package budget, that's when the design of your display starts. We will have a chat with you to discuss duration event type, colours etc. If you are unsure if your wedding venue allows fireworks, we will be more than happy to contact them and discuss the options. Following on from this, we will start to design your display to ensure that the fireworks we use are the best available. Talking of surprises, on many occasions we have requests to keep the display a secret from different parts of the wedding party, we have had family members booking a surprise display for the bride & Groom, equally we have had the Bride & Groom wishing to keep the display a secret from the guest’s. Once we have agreed the plan and received your signed booking form, we will make all the relevant arrangements with the venue. To secure your booking we will require a twenty per cent deposit. You can send this as a cheque with your booking form, pay by bank transfer or by card over the phone. You will then receive a confirmation of all your display details and receipt for your deposit. The final balance will be payable no later than one week before the display. If you wish to spread the balance by instalments, this is fine by us and totally up to you.
INSURANCE Firework Genix has £10 million annual firework display insurance, covering both public liability and employee liability which is in place all year round.
PLANNING AND SAFETY Firework Genix will liaise with your venue and undertake an on-site survey where necessary. All our displays are risk assessed against current legislation and industry practice.
DISPLAY SET UP AND FIRING Your display team will include trained pyrotechnicians to set up and fire your display. We do not provide DIY firework firing.
AFTER THE DISPLAY After the firework display our team will clear as much of the firework debris as possible; our pyrotechnicians pride ourselves on leaving a clean and tidy site.
Weather During the preparation of your display, all the fireworks are waterproofed to ensure that the Great British weather won’t put a damper on events! A display will only be cancelled if there is a risk to public safety. (we’ve never had to cancel a display)
Quiet Fireworks Like many, you may be thinking that’s not possible to have quiet fireworks. Rest assured it is, we have many wedding venues requesting a noise reduction for the fireworks. Having carried out many displays with this request we have extensive experience in this area. All of our packages are available as low noise displays. The display doesn’t need to suffer; some of the larger material is replaced with quieter effects, reducing the sound just means we concentrate more on including prettier effects such as large twinkling comets and low-level glitter effects. If you are unsure whether your wedding venue has any restrictions, we can contact them on your behalf.
